Silverfish

Silverfish Bite

Silverfish don't bite (sting) and thankfully, they're not venomous insects. Silverfish don't have any sharp stingers, sharp claws, or poison of any kind. They're in reality pretty harmless insects, more of a pain in the neck to have around then anything else.

The most obvious concerns with silverfish are they can be very destructive. They can be found consuming some of your personal possessions, things such as your books and various articles of clothing.

Silverfish are typically looked upon as unpleasant stingers, because they're often misidentified for the common household centipede and other mean looking stinging insects.
